T2 add two new signings ahead of Friday's season opener at Sounders FC 2

PORTLAND, Ore. – T2 have signed defender Jimmy Mulligan and goalkeeper Austin Pack for the 2018 USL season, it was announced today.

Mulligan, 26, joins T2 after playing four seasons under Portland Timbers head coach Giovanni Savarese for the New York Cosmos (2014-15, 2016-17), where he made 69 appearances (63 starts) in all competitions and registered one goal. Mulligan helped the Cosmos claim back-to-back NASL Championships in 2015 and 2016. The Medford, New York, native joined USL side Swope Park Rangers on loan from the Cosmos for the 2016 USL season, where he played in 17 matches (16 starts).

Pack, 24, played the past two seasons for Puerto Rico FC (2016-17), where he made 11 starts and registered two shutouts during the 2017 NASL season. Prior to playing for Puerto Rico FC, the Atlanta, Ga., native played four collegiate seasons for the Charlotte 49ers (2012-15), where he made 42 appearances and recorded 15 shutouts.

T2 will open up the 2018 USL regular season on the road when they face off against Cascadia-rival Seattle Sounders FC 2 on Friday, March 16, at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma, Wash.; kickoff is set for 7 p.m. (Pacific). Friday's match will be available via a live web stream www.timbers2.com
